No reason to fear

“I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber;
Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord wilk keep you from all harm – he will watch over your life;
The Lord will watch over your coming and going, both now and forever.”

Psalm 121

What a comfort knowing that our God never takes a break in watching over us. He is oncall 24/7. So there is no reason for us to live in fear and worries.

What have you been living in fear lately? I pray that you will let God take over that fear in your life.

Good morning! God bless!

  1. This is the passage that God led me to meditate on when I celebrated my 4th yr as a Christian.
    I found myself realizing that when I became a Christian, instead of being a risk- taker, the opposite happened. I always doubt. I always have fears in my heart if I’m doing the right thing. ..Then, God spoke to my heart. He said that on the day when I surrendered my life and receive Him as my Savior and Lord, His grace and power has been already available. That I’m victorious because He is victorious. There’s no need to worry. There’s nothing to fear. And I have to put away my doubts and replace it with FAITH. Faith that is based on His grace. Even if I will fail, He will be there to accept me when I go back to Him. His grace will sustain me. And in every decision that I made, in every path that I will take, His love will see me through. I don’t need to worry. I like the part that says, “The Lord will watch over your coming and going, both now and forever.” I claim this in Jesus Name!
