Satisfaction

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit – fruit that will last.”. – John 15:16

“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.” – Eph 1:4

One thing I’ve struggled in the past and sometimes, still tries to crawl back and pull me down is my insecurity. It gave me a low self-esteem. It made me feel small about my self. It made me do things just to prove to my self that I am better. I am good enough. And it made me reached to a point that I started hurting my self until it wounded me deeply inside.

Then, God restored me. He reminded me how important and special I am in His eyes. That I am worth dying of His Son. Ephesians 1:4 became my constant reminder that even before I was created, God hand-picked me already. I realized that only Him can truly satisfy me as a person. I just have to stop trying so hard and instead see my self the way God sees me.

There is only one way to always feel secure no matter what circumstance we are in. And that is to be covered with God’s love. And to experience that, we need to be a recepient of that love through Jesus. If I’m special, so are you. You are much valued by God because He offered His only Son for you to have a meaningful life. Accepting Jesus in your life means to be forever secure of God’s love. And you’ll see, He will be enough.

Good night everyone! 🙂
