You are Famous!

I was reminded by the song of Francesca Battistelli, “He Knows My Name” of how precious we are in the eyes of God. There will always be those moments of doubts and insecurities that we can’t help ask if we are enough or what we have done will be enough for others. If you are in that moment right now, I hope that you will be encouraged that God is not after our performance. We don’t need fame, social status, wealth or position. We don’t need to prove ourselves to anyone.

God already fell in love ❤ with you even before you were born. He had already set His eyes on you when you were just on your mother’s womb. He already knew you even before your first cry. And that’s what matters. I hope that you will remember that you are ALWAYS LOVED. And that’s why God sent Jesus for you (John 3:16). Because, God does not want you to be away from Him. You are that important!

Don’t Lose to Temporary

Are you losing hope in your current situation? You feel like you can never get out from it? I have my own share of struggles also and everything just looks so blur as to how I will be able to overcome those. I was so encouraged and reminded by these lines from a movie which are also based on Biblical principles. Indeed, only God knows how we will be able to overcome. We just have to stop losing our self to the worries but instead surrender everything to God and just let Him work in our life.

How do we not lose our self to the temporary? By being rooted into the Word of God and prayers. Only God can truly assure and secure us of what lies ahead. We just have to trust Him!

Stop Trying

How’s your life recently? Has it been filled with joy and gratefulness? Or, has it been filled with disappointments and frustrations? Are you one of those who keeps trying so hard but still things don’t work out the way you want it to be?

I hear you, my friend. You are not alone in that journey. There are so many things in my life that I wish I can just take control. Unfortunately, life doesn’t work out that way. I have learned to live by faith and trust that I have a God who is all-knowing will not let me live a life of defeat. I have learned to surrender and let go.

The source of my disappointment and frustration was because of a wrong mindset. I focused on pleasing people and myself rather than pleasing God. I tried so hard to live up to my own and to other people’s standard that eventually crushed and broke me. It was an exhausting journey. I realized I was trying to make my life look better to others but deep inside, I was empty. I was trying to fill that emptiness from accomplishing things.

But God is so good and gracious. He picked me up and He gave me rest. God reminded me that there is nothing more I need to do because He got it. He got His Son Jesus to fill my emptiness. And indeed, it was the most effortless satisfaction I have received in my life. As I received Christ in my life, I still have disappointments and struggles but I also have joy and peace. I didn’t have to keep trying. Instead, I started living a life that God has intended me to live.

If you haven’t met Jesus, I would love to introduce you to Him. He is for real, that I’m sure about.

” I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” – Jesus (John 10:10)

Stop trying

Road to Brokenness

Are you scared to be HURT? To be in PAIN? To be heart BROKEN? There are certain circumstances in our life that are inevitable to bring us pain, like losing a loved one, being sick or someone intentionally hurting us. However, there is this kind of pain also that is a consequence of the choices we make. It is the kind of pain that we don’t want to go through because we know it could break us big time.

It could be letting go of a wrong relationship, it could be giving up a compromising business, it could be stopping an addiction, it could be reconciling with a family or friend. Whatever it is that will cause you brokenness and deep hurt, always remember that God’s desire for you is to live a life free from any bondage. God loves you so much that sometimes He has to allow you to go through brokenness so that He can make you whole again and He could give you a life that is truly abundant. The best part of this brokenness is He will always be with you and carry you through.

My friend, don’t be afraid to go through brokenness that will bring a lasting peace in your life. It is never too late. You just have to let go and let God work in your life. Always remember, God wants what is best for you.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

God wants you!

Do you know how important and special you are? You are important not because of what you have accomplished in life. You are important because God did not create anyone to be less special or less important. And because for God you are important, it is also important for Him to have a relationship with you.

Sometimes, we seek importance from other people and when we don’t feel that they value us, we get insecure and disappointed. We start doubting our value as a person. And that is not what God wants us to feel. He wants us to always feel secure and valued. And He alone can do that for us. To have a relationship with God is the best thing that could happen to you. He can be your Father, your Friend, your Healer, your Provider. He can be everything that no human person will ever be able to do for you.

I hope today, you will give God a chance in your life. He loves you and He wants the best for you.
